Planting Under A Cancerian Moon

Cancer is the astrological sign which governs the breasts. This is a very fertile sign for planting under. It is considered one of the very best signs to do planting on. I am going to make use of this phase next week. I will be planting a few different types of Sage and starting some Rowan Tree seedlings.

Moon In Taurus

Taurus is a very fruitful sign to do planting under. I plan to use this astrological phase next week to start some of my seeds. I have decided to start with root vegetables. I only have 2. These are Onions and Parsnips. I will also be starting my Lettuce on this date. I have put my Mandrake seeds in the refrigerator to start planting under this phase as well.

Clary Sage

This year I will be growing Clary Sage in my garden. I plan to start my seeds next week. I plan to use the astrological phase when Cancer is the sign the Moon is in. Clary Sage can be used for many magickal purposes. It is used in wish magick. You would write your wish on one of the leaves of this plant. The leaves of Clary Sage grow to be quite large. I have read that they can grow as large as 1 foot.

When you have written your wish on the leaf you place it beneath your pillow. You will have dreams in the evening. It is best to make note of them. They will give you some ideas about whether or not your wish will come true. If a negative answer is revealed you should bury your leaf and move on.

Mandrake

I am getting ready for gardening season right now. I have started some work to get my garden going. I have just phoned the lady who runs the community garden I am involved with. Next week I plan to make use of the greenhouse. I have just started some of my seeds in the refrigerator. The first seeds I have started are for a plant called Black Mandrake.

This herb is a baneful herb, but I plan to use the root for a poppet. This is something which is common for Mandrake. This root looks like a human. This is why it is commonly used for poppets. My magickal intent will be self-healing and advancement in life. This will be a very long term magickal working. This plant takes more time to grow.

This plant is governed by Saturn. Saturn often governs plants which are slow growing. This plant should take 2 gardening seasons to harvest.

Rue

I am going to be starting some of my seeds this week. Gardening season is rapidly approaching. The greenhouse where my community garden is located is now open. I have plenty of work to do. I hope to get started within the next couple of days.

One of the plants I will be working this year is called Rue. The Latin name is Ruta Graveolens. This is a Mars governed herb it is sacred to the God mars as well as Diana and Aradia. This herb is useful for consecrating magickal objects which are made of iron.

Beginning My Garden

This year I have purchased many seeds for my garden. I hope to do 3 separate gardens this year. I have just confirmed one garden plot today. This is located near Dundas and Bathhurst Street in downtown Toronto. My plants shall soon be ready to grow. Spring is not very far away. I take part in a community garden called Diversity Garden. My plot is very large. I had trouble filling the space last summer. This year I have purchased a wide variety of seeds. I have also been winning them off of a website called Listia.
